Job Title: FalconWorks Programme Security Manager

Salary: £54,793+ dependant on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
- There is a requirement to travel to Falconworks Joint Venture/Entities sites to provide security advice
- You will oversee the readiness of the team’s response to security incidents
- This role will require you to monitor performance of allocated staff in order to ensure that work is carried out effectively. You will provide on-the-job technical advice to new team members around tasks and act as a supervisor to team members and coach/mentor to all new team members
- Ensure you liaise with government regulators to refine requirements, frameworks and operational criteria ensuring this is communicated to Falconworks and its entities
- Support Site Security Managers and Security Controllers who work within Joint Ventures and entities to produce accurate threat assessments and operational requirements
- You will be required to support the security culture, behaviours and communications by raising security awareness among employees and management in the local area and modelling behaviours that demonstrate BAE Systems values
- You’ll also have people manager responsibilities in this role
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Suitably qualified by experience having demonstrable security managerial background
- Experience of leading a team
- Experience of working within government security policies
Desirable:
- Relevant security qualification

The Falcon Works Security team:
Leading a team of qualified security professionals who provide support and advice to BAE Systems joint ventures and entities in relation to current government guidance and best practice.
