Salary: £41,361

What you’ll be doing:

  • Carrying out security tasks and coordinating security services based on relevant policies, standards, procedures and best practices
  • Monitoring the adequacy of the security measures within FalconWorks to ensure that policies and procedures are up-to-date and taking account of new developments
  • Conducting and reviewing security assessments to protect critical assets within BAES.
  • Assuring the integrity of BAE employees by maintaining personnel security and access control processes and procedure
  • Providing security advice and guidance to the FalconWorks business making recommendations to improve security solutions.
  • Maintaining effective relationships and coordinating with key business representatives.
  • Supporting the security culture by raising security awareness among employees and management in the local area and modelling behaviours that demonstrate BAE Systems values

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Experience of working within a security role or highly regulated environment that demand high levels of accountability, risk awareness, and adherence to operational standards
  • Experience of navigating complex challenges with integrity and sound judgment
  • Experience working in data-driven environments with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools such as Confluence
  • Proven experience in managing, collating, and presenting data to inform strategic decisions and drive business outcomes

Desirable:

  • Defence sector background

The FalconWorks Security Team:

As a Programme Security Advisor working within the FalconWorks Security Team, you will be responsible for non-complex Security work streams in order to protect BAE Systems, FalconWorks, its people, infrastructure, information and assets, as well as the interests of its shareholders and customers, and to fulfil regulatory and legal obligations.
