Ashford is recruiting a facilities Manager oversees the functionality, safety, and efficiency of buildings and infrastructure, managing services like maintenance, security, cleaning, and space planning. They align the workplace with business goals, handle vendor contracts, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. This role is vital for operational continuity.
A satisfying role
As the facilities manager you will be planning, coordinating, and executing routine maintenance and repairs for structural, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Your varied role will see you handling everything from Planning, coordinating, and executing routine maintenance and repairs for structural, electrical, and mechanical systems. Ensuring the building meets all legal, safety, and environmental regulations, including fire safety and risk management.
What you bring to the mix
An experienced Facilities Manager-
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of building systems (plumbing, electrical).
• Project Management: Ability to lead renovations and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Communication & Negotiation: Strong interpersonal skills for vendor management and staff coordination.
• Problem-Solving: Quick thinking to handle emergency repairs and day-to-day issues.
