Purpose of Job

We now have an opportunity for an onsite Senior Facilities Coordinator at a client Data Centre. Working within the remote CBRE team, the role offers development potential for any candidate wanting to work on the leading edge of the growing Data Centre industry. The Sr Facilities Coordinator will report to the designated account management team member. They will coordinate the FM requirements as required and will arrange and supervise Services Contractors as required.

As a Facility Manager for the London region, you will lead a team of Facility Coordinators, Vendors and Maintenance technicians responsible for delivering and overseeing soft services and maintaining data centers (excluding the Critical Environment server rooms and related MEP).

Your tasks include:

• Disciplinary leadership and development of your subordinate employees (spread across the sites), including conducting regular performance reviews, as well as hiring and onboarding new employees;

• Comprehensive management and administration of our repair and maintenance work within the assigned data centers, utilizing both internal and external technicians and service providers in the field of building maintenance;

• Ensuring smooth service operations/facility management at a selected number of assigned customer data centers; maintaining our existing customer relationships on whose behalf we manage the data centers (this also includes participation in regular client meetings);

• Management of the annual budget as well as overseeing investment projects in close consultation with the client;

• Conducting regular facility inspections and quality assurance in accordance with local, state, and federal/national regulations

• Identification and initiation of operational modernizations and efficiency improvements in facility management at the sites

• Compliance with all environmental, health, and safety procedures for our facilities

• Selection and management of our external service providers, including monitoring their performance

• Conducting process and procedure training in maintenance, repairs, and best safety practices

• Representation of our CBRE values (RISE Values)

• Identifying and resolving everyday issues related to site-specific facility management

Your Profile

• Relevant technical training or a bachelor's degree in business or technical fields

• Relevant professional experience in building maintenance / facility management is essential

• Certification in facility management is desirable but not mandatory if proven through experience

• Experience in selecting, onboarding, and leading your own employees both professionally and disciplinary.

• Quick grasp with the ability to communicate complex topics to clients and manage performance expectations

• Comprehensive organizational skills with a strong curiosity

• Due to budget responsibility, a certain affinity for numbers is required

• Very good English language skills, both written and spoken (additional EMEA languages may be an advantage but are not necessary for this role).
