Facilities Manager

Job Description

Are you a seasoned Facilities Manager seeking a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to contribute to the upkeep and innovation of one of the world's most iconic estates?

You will manage the maintenance teams, oversee health and safety compliance, and deputise for the Head of Facilities when required.

Facilities

  • Utilise the maintenance portal to coordinate and manage maintenance, compliance and repair works, updating the maintenance and management teams regarding contractor visits.
  • Daily monitoring of PPM completion in line with the planner and ensuring SLAs and KPIs are met
  • Utilise the MindsetPrism dashboard to monitor and manage utility usage to optimise efficiency and minimise cost.

Health & Safety

  • Drive a culture of compliance in all things relating to health and safety.
  • Identify risk and follow up within business timelines remedying any shortfalls.
  • Ensure all employees are fully trained in their roles and responsibilities.

Team

  • Supervise and coordinate the on-site maintenance, cleaning and floor attendance teams.
  • Responsible for the recruitment, training and induction of new team members, and support the development of existing team members through training and coaching.
  • Provide a coaching environment, and a culture of performance improvement with the maintenance, cleaning and floor attendant teams to achieve the Grosvenor service standards.

Qualifications

  • Computer literate and at an intermediate standard with MS Microsoft Word, Excel and Project
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • IOSH/NEBOSH
  • Understanding and experience of hard and soft services
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and driven individual
  • Good communicator and interpersonal skills - both written & verbal
  • Open and transparent with decision making
  • Confident in developing and maintaining relationships with contractors and suppliers
