Sub function

The EY Global Strategic Events and Experience team is a dynamic group dedicated to creating impactful and memorable experiences for clients, stakeholders, and employees. This team specializes in designing and executing high-profile events that align with EY's strategic objectives and enhance brand visibility.

The opportunity

A fabulous opportunity for an Assistant Director level to join the Global Strategic Events and Experiences team for seven months, specifically around the registration, customer experience and delegate management for our flagship event, EY World Entrepreneur Of The Yearâ„¢ (WEOY) which will be held in Monaco 25-29 May 2026.

Your key responsibilities

This role manages all things registration and designs and delivers the customer experience for clients attending WEOY. Externally this role projects the best of the EY brand.

Success in the role depends upon seamlessly managing all elements of the registration process, including the end-to-end delegate management, communication and customer experience. This includes:

  • Lead on the design and delivery of the overall registration process, delegate management and delegate communication for WEOY.
  • Be the main point of contact pre-event, onsite and post-event for registration queries and be the lead registration contact for our various external vendors and agencies to ensure consistent delivery across the workstream.
  • Manage onboarding external vendors for registration site build and event app technology
  • Oversee the build of the registration site, the testing phase, ongoing management of all data, including charges and billing. Ensure consistency with all other registration technology, including the event app, technology and suppliers for private meeting scheduling and/or Monaco experiences.
  • Create and manage all registration related communications (invite emails, reminders, joining instructions, app notifications).
  • Support with the coordination of micro forums and Monaco experiences.
  • Lead on the reporting and data management of attendees to communicate with various internal stakeholders.
  • Manage workflow and performance of internal support teams who assist with WEOY mailbox queries and reporting.
  • Create a consistent brand experience through all facets of the event.
  • Deliver exceptional client service across a complex stakeholder map of senior leaders.
  • Form part of multi-functional core teams to deliver events with a culture of high-performance, teaming, and achieving market impact by managing the work-plan, timeline and budget of all elements of the programme.
  • Work closely with Legal, Procurement and Independence, Meetings and Events to ensure compliance for all events.
  • In this role, you will play an important part in one of EY's most prestigious and innovative global flagship events. Being able to work at a fast pace is critical to your success, and being able to respond to unforeseen circumstances with a flexible mindset and ability is key.

Skills and attributes for success

  • A strong team player, comfortable working collaboratively, virtually and independently.
  • Strategic brand, marketing and communications expertise, including global delegate management design and delivery experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast pace, agile environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, managing multiple stakeholders, time zones and priorities effectively.
  • Ability to navigate through change and manage ambiguity including cultural awareness

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Experience of delegate management tools, including registration sites and related event technology applications.
  • Experience in a cross-border role, successfully managing multiple complex projects at a global level.
  • Considerable experience of delivering brand, marketing and communications projects in global organizations.
  • Experience managing diverse teams.
  • Outstanding communication abilities and experience.
  • Outstanding ability to multi-task with exceptional attention to detail.

Ideally, you'll also have

  • High level of influencing and networking skills.
  • Experience of working in a matrixed organization with multiple stakeholders to manage.
  • Experience of delivering multiple events on a global basis.
  • Experience of leading under extreme pressure.
  • Ability to be able to travel internationally
