Job Description
The Opportunity
The Executive Engagement Manager reports to the Head of Executive Engagement within the Europe CEO Office. This is an exciting area of the business where you will gain a broad view of Visa Europe, the activities critical to the Europe CEO and the growth strategy for FY21 and beyond.
We are a diverse, supportive and resourceful team, who are committed to delivering the best outcomes for Visa via the successful execution of cross-functional initiatives. Every day brings new challenges and opportunities.
The Executive Engagement team ensures the successful delivery of key cross-functional engagements for the Europe CEO. This involves facilitating alignment on content, preparing written materials for bespoke audiences and sourcing latest results from multiple functions and markets. All in a fast paced environment with competing priorities.
Key activities includes:
- Manage written briefings and market overviews for clients and government meetings
- Preparing quarterly reports on Visa Europe growth for Investors, Visa Europe Board and Global Executives - sourcing updates from European clusters and all functions
- Prepare speech content and slides for Europe CEO to deliver at flagship events, both internally and externally eg Client Councils, Market Kick Off meetings and Visa Payments Forum
- Manage planning and briefings for Global Executive visits to Europe
Key stakeholders include Sales Operations, Corporate Communications, Sales and Strategic Planning teams in all clusters, Product, Government Engagement, Regulatory and Global Executive Offices.

Basic Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Essential Personal Qualities
- Excellent collaboration skills partnering with internal stakeholders to support the work of the Europe CEO Office
- Self motivated, resourceful individual with strong emotional intelligence,
- Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively - both written and verbally to stakeholders at all levels
- Strong analytical skills
- Someone with a combination of focus and flexibility, happy to play an active role, whether behind-the-scenes or leading on key projects.
- Strong attention to detail, consistently delivering exemplary results
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Embodies Visa's Leadership Principles and inspire others to as well
- Ability to build support, commitment and respect from others by demonstrating professionalism, integrity and expertise.
Preferred Qualifications
- Curious nature, a willingness to learn more about payments
- Experience in financial services or payments with a commercial, business outlook
- Experience working across European markets
- Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel
- VAP reporting knowledge
