Executive Account Manager (NHS)

Location: Hybrid - Uxbridge, Sheffield, or Manchester

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Executive Account Manager to join our largest sales team within our public sector team. This role will be focused on managing and growing strategic relationships within the NHS. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in technology sales, with the ability to deliver innovative solutions that drive client success and long-term loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain deep, strategic relationships within the NHS, positioning Insight as a trusted partner.
  • Create and execute detailed business plans for the assigned portfolio to identify new business opportunities and generate recurring revenue.
  • Drive profitable growth by identifying opportunities to cross-sell and upsell our services and solutions, ensuring we meet and exceed revenue and profit targets.
  • Conduct regular face-to-face meetings, presentations, and demonstrations to showcase our solutions and secure client buy-in.
  • Maintain accurate weekly reporting on pipeline, forecast, and sales activities, ensuring alignment with company targets.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including inside sales and technical experts, to deliver the most effective and value-driven solutions to clients.
  • Lead the engagement on procurement processes, tenders, and bids, ensuring a strategic approach that maximizes win rates.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to junior sales teammates, fostering a collaborative and high-performing sales culture.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Extensive experience in consultative sales within the technology sector, with a proven history of overachieving targets.
  • Strong understanding of IT solutions, particularly in relation to cloud, software, and service offerings.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels, including C-suite.
  • Experience managing large and complex accounts within the NHS or other public sector healthcare organisations.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and demonstrate resilience in the face of challenges.
