We are currently looking for an Events Manager to join the Royal London Asset Management Marketing team on a permanent basis in London.

As Events Manager, you will support the Marketing Services Lead to deliver to key objectives, with a focus on:

• Event planning, execution, management and reporting
• Management and maintenance of events marketing materials
• Liaison with the wider Marketing and Client Group teams

This is a brand-new opportunity for an events management professional to support us in delivering high quality events from start to finish for the RLAM Client Group and broader business. As a subject matter expert, you will take the lead on all Client Group events and shape the events calendar.

About the role

• Plan and execute sales, marketing and corporate events.
• Develop and manage events calendar.
• Lead and manage a wide range of in-person event types including third party, proprietary, breakfasts, lunches and dinners.
• Lead and manage larger events and corporate conferences.
• Liaise with 3rd party events management vendors for venue research and booking.
• Liaise with Events Management and webinar platform vendors.

About you

• Previous experience organising and executing a range of events, ideally within a Financial Services or Professional Services environment.
• Comfortable operating within a fast-paced commercial marketing function.
• Experience utilizing events/marketing technologies and platforms.
• Previous CRM / contact management systems experience.
• Ability to utilise and manage virtual event / webinar platforms.
• Ability to liaise with and manage third party vendors to ensure business needs are met.
• An understanding of Financial Promotions process and risk controls.
