We have an opportunity for an Event Manager to join the Event Management team for Worldwide Events Group Ltd, the company behind m&i, Private Luxury, TFest and Amour.

The company is firmly established at the forefront of the Meeting & Incentive, Luxury and Romantic Travel sectors with events hosted internationally in Europe, North America and the Middle East.

The role

We are looking for an Event Manager to join our Event Management Team. This role involves looking after the planning and execution of large-scale B2B events, develop and maintain relationships with high-profile event partners and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate and execute large-scale events from inception to completion.
  • Manage and track event expenses, ensuring adherence to allocated event budgets.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their vision and requirements.
  • Coordinate and approve attendee communication with the Customer Success team.
  • Coordinate with event partners to ensure all event logistics are handled efficiently.
  • Provide logistical support during events, including setup and coordination, and teardown.
  • Serve as point of contact onsite at events, supporting Senior Event Manager.
  • Conducting destination research and shortlist potential venues/partners as needed.
  • Assist in negotiations with event partners, sponsors and external stakeholders.

    Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in event planning.
  • End-to-end full cycle event management experience.
  • Proven track record of managing international events.
  • Experience in handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent organisational, time management and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Comfortable working with tight deadlines, and with changing requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in SalesForce.
  • Proficiency in Cloud Collaboration service such as Airtable.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office packages (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).

  • 28 days holiday, plus UK Bank Holidays
  • Extra holiday - one extra day of holiday for every year service after 2 years, up to a maximum of 30 days annual leave (plus UK Bank Holidays)
  • Hybrid working - we operate on a hybrid working pattern to offer a combination of office and home-working days each week.
  • 4pm finish on Fridays - start the weekend early!
