We are seeking a talented and passionate Events Manager to join our dynamic team and contribute to our event planning excellence. As our Events Manager, you will have the opportunity to refine your skills, learn from experienced colleagues within the catering department, and play a crucial role in delivering both exceptional service, and events, to our clients.

More about the role:

  • Lead the planning, coordination, set up, and hospitality service delivery of various events, including conferences, trade shows, corporate meetings, and social gatherings. Supporting with Cricket operations during the season and leading in the delivery of conferencing and events in the off season
  • Ensure consistency and quality in all event aspects while following established plans and standards in both quality of product and set up and breakdown of spaces. Set an example and lead the team in the standard of expectations
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth service, meaningful collaboration and a legendary experience for all
  • Be methodical in the organisation of the venue operating spaces. Rooms are reset and all conference-ware, buffet station equipment and ancillaries are accounted for and organised into their respective places
  • Support and mentor your event staff to foster a positive and productive work environment

About you:

  • Previous experience as an Events Manager, Duty Manager or relevant position in a fast-paced catering and events environment within the hospitality industry
  • Solid understanding of event planning techniques, vendor management, and logistical coordination
  • Ability to work well under pressure, prioritise tasks, and multitask effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering legendary event experiences
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
