The Opportunity:

Clarion's Digital Marketing Division is the home of market-leading brands: Traffic & Conversion Summit, Affiliate Summit and Creator Economy Live.

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to lead on the strategy, planning and project management for Affiliate Summit which is the biggest affiliate marketing event in the world (Affiliate Summit East and Affiliate Summit West), attracting thousands of attendees from the US and around the globe.

Our events are not your typical conference so you won't see many grey suits! We bring together mass publishes, affiliates, SMEs, bloggers, Instagram influencers and the world's largest ecommerce brands. As consumer behaviours evolve and EVERYBODY is now shopping online our events continue to grow at double digit rates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the P&L performance for Affiliate Summit.
  • Producing regular financial forecasts for Affiliate Summit events.
  • Delivers on and upholds the value proposition and business plan for Affiliate Summit, through a mixture of quantitative and qualitative research and analysis, together with the content team.
  • Utilises customer insights to improve sponsor, exhibitor and attendee experience.
  • Project manages live event delivery, bringing together all functions (marketing, customer success, sales and operations), ensuring a solid path to a successful event.
  • Understands key segments and drivers to reflect them into the direction of the business.
  • Monitors strengths and weaknesses in competition and identifying the USPs for our events and digital products.
  • Working with the Head of Sales to implement the key account strategy on Affiliate Summit.
  • Main relationships with Affiliate Summit key customers, building relationships with potential customers who are strategically important for the brand.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours:

  • Proven experience in a similar role managing a large scale festival/conference or exhibition.
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about digital marketing.
  • Experience in managing and building customer relationships.
  • Experience working in the North American events market is desirable.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion through continuous development, modelling inclusive behaviours and proactively managing bias.
  • Curious, humble and a relentless will to improve.
