Regional SRM Director, Europe & Australia

What will your role be

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly strategic and results-oriented individual to join our team as the Strategic Revenue Management (SRM) Director for our Europe & Australia business unit.

You will build and accelerate SRM and provide us with a long-term roadmap for EUAU. You will be the key conduit between our Global Strategy & Growth teams and our Data & Technology teams and markets, providing critical support and driving cross-market standardization and process improvements. This high-impact role requires strong leadership, collaboration, and analytical skills.

The SRM Director reports to the Finance Director for Europe & Australia, you will have three indirect reports (Market SRM leads) as part of the matrix structure - strong influencing and collaboration skills to drive change across multiple teams and markets.

Key Accountabilities

  • Overall SRM Strategy Development & Delivery: Lead the development of the EUAU SRM strategy working collaboratively with the market SRM teams. This role will be accountable for delivery of SRM targets for EUAU. This includes providing insightful external & internal analysis and developing actionable recommendations.
  • Cross-Market Standardization: Drive the standardization of processes and reporting across the UK, France, and Australia markets, including but not limited to, Monthly Operating Reviews (Ways of Working), financial reporting & PEAK (Performance Excellence and Knowledge) processes. This will involve identifying best practices, developing standardized methodologies, and implementing them effectively across the region.
  • Price, Pack Architecture (PPA) : Lead the development and implementation of the PPA strategy in collaboration with the Business Development Teams (BDTs), ensuring optimal pricing and promotional strategies to maximize profitability and market share.
  • Tool Adoption & Usage: Drive the adoption and usage of key SRM tools and systems across the region, ensuring consistent data quality and efficient reporting. This includes developing training materials, providing ongoing support, and monitoring usage to identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduit between Global Strategy and Growth/ Data and Technology (S&G/D&T) and Markets: Act as a key liaison between Global Strategy and Growth/ Data and Technology and the markets, ensuring effective communication and collaboration on key initiatives. This will involve translating global strategies into actionable plans for the markets and providing feedback to global teams on regional needs and challenges.
  • Business Partnering: Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business, including marketing, sales, and operations, to provide insightful guidance and support decision-making.

What you will bring to the team

  • Proven experience in a senior RGM role within a large, multinational organization, ideally within the FMCG industry; deep understanding of the FMCG industry and the key drivers of success.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Experience leading and implementing cross-functional projects, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to both financial and non-financial audiences.
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to build consensus and drive change across multiple teams and markets

Minimum Qualifications

  • University degree in Business or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in an FMCG or multinational organization with at least 3 years in a similar (SRM) role
  • Proven track record of success in leading and implementing cross-functional projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or other advanced degree
  • Experience working in the European or Australian markets
  • A passion for food and a commitment to General Mills' values is essential
