What your role is

The Transformation Manager is the lead for the HMM Transform office and will play a vital technical role within the EUAU Marketing structure to connect differentially with the International and NAR/NAF/Pet teams across the global organisation. This role will be responsible for securing & accelerating the 3OP HMM pipeline and beyond through the exploration of cross-Brand & cross-functional opportunity areas to ensure the health of the long-term HMM pipeline. The individual must demonstrate excellence in knowledge of cross-functional processes (Manufacturing, Sourcing, Logistics, ITQ, Marketing), a learning mind-set to explore internal & external innovation, and collaboration with the business teams to build a funnel of large-scale and potentially disruptive ideas within the HMM arena. They will need to provide high-level assessments of potential business impact and resource requirements, and support & influence prioritization decisions made at Senior Leadership level to progress through to feasibility.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead activities to increase the portfolio of transform-scale initiatives to ensure the sufficiency of the HMM pipeline in FY+2 and beyond. Collaborate cross-functionally and across all EUAU Brands (including Haagen Dazs) to identify potential areas of opportunity for technical or technically-enabled projects. This should include leveraging external resources such as Consultants & suppliers to investigate future trends and innovation in raw materials, packaging and technical equipment. It will also involve direct connects with Global colleagues to share learnings and discuss cross-segment opportunities.
  • Play a differential connector style role across the global organisation by partnering across the technical communities both in International and NAR/PET/NAF. Use this insight to take responsibility for driving the Technical Community collaboration (SC, Sourcing & ITQ) with a focus on Transformational HMM - including organising the bi-annual F2F events.
  • Build on existing connects to establish a forum to discuss and unlock cross brand/function opportunity areas including Senior Leadership level stage-gate approval to progress and decision-making for allocation of Project Manager.
  • Complete high-level assessments of identified opportunity areas including potential size of prize, implementation timings, and resource requirements. Create LtW Charters & bring prioritisation, project approval & resource requests to stakeholders for decisions on progress to next stage.
  • Establish & lead HMM 'Active Management': a project-based platform to review the largest & most complex key strategic HMM projects being managed by the HMM Project Manager.

What you will bring to the team

Minimum Qualifications/Experience

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in Project Management (ideally within Supply Chain or ITQ)
  • Broad business understanding and broad perspective to "connect the dots", utilize strategic thinking and demonstrate curiosity
  • Excellent communication skills and able to drive effective discussions with project resources from tactical execution level up to Senior Leadership level
  • Exceptional skill in navigating an organisation and building relationships across and up levels whilst being comfortable with managing conflict.
  • Stakeholder management and ability to influence positively in decision making
  • Confident in challenging the norm and able to identify opportunities for innovative ways of working
  • Strong organizational and people development skills
  • Able to lead and direct across functional teams
  • Able to work across organizational/functional boundaries
  • Self-managing, results oriented and capable of leading multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Able to enter uncertain situations, assess opportunities, identify stakeholders, and bring direction to a project

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree ideally in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, Technical or Supply Chain Management
  • High level Project Management qualification
