What your role is

The Project Manager for Supply Chain is responsible for securing & accelerating the 3OP cost saving pipeline. Managing some of our largest & most complex key strategic Cost Saving projects as well as the development of project capabilities, best practices, and processes. The individual must demonstrate mastery of project management and knowledge of cross-functional processes (Manufacturing, Sourcing, Logistics, ITQ, Marketing) to ensure full end-to-end leadership & integration. There will be requirements to guide, coach & support colleagues in project management and to communicate to, and support & influence decisions made at Senior Leadership level.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead key strategic HMM (Holistic Margin Management) technical or technically-enabled projects from Charter stage and ensure executional excellence using the appropriate methodology and tools. This will include leading the budget management to ensure all E2E costs have been considered by the team (CAPEX, trials, start-up curves, material write-offs, complexity/performance impacts etc).
  • Work with functional managers to develop project timings, resource requirements, and project success criteria. Drive efforts to accelerate implementation and increase project savings.
  • Track & communicate project progress to key stakeholders including Senior Leadership team. Identify, assess and mitigate project-level risks and ensure effective communication via clear governance process.
  • Lead any required cross-functional root cause analysis to understand business implications. Escalate roadblocks and bring proposals for mitigation to the appropriate decision-makers.
  • Utilise skills & experience to review the Cost Saving (HMM) Project Management framework and implement improvements to ways of working & tools that will have an impact on the achievement of regional results.
  • This includes coaching & support to Brand HMM Managers & functional HMM Leads for all projects.
  • Collaborate with Marketing leads to provide guidance on adopting changes to support project management across all Launch to Win projects including Inno/Reno, Business Continuity and CSR.

What you will bring to the team

Minimum Qualifications/Experience

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Project Management (ideally within Supply Chain)
  • Proven experience in Project Management methodology
  • Excellent communication skills and able to drive effective discussions with project resources from tactical execution level up to Senior Leadership level
  • Stakeholder management and ability to influence positively in decision making
  • Strong organizational and people development skills
  • Able to lead and direct across functional teams
  • Able to work across organizational/functional boundaries
  • Self-managing, results oriented and capable of leading multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Able to enter uncertain situations, assess opportunities, identify stakeholders, and bring direction to a project

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree ideally in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or Supply Chain Management
  • Project Management qualification
