Job Title: ETL Test Lead

About the Job you are considering:
This role ensures that all system changes supporting project objectives are thoroughly tested, validated, and aligned with organisational testing standards.
It enables the project to make evidence-based decisions on whether to proceed from development/testing into implementation.
Hybrid working:
The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
Core Skills & Experience
Key Responsibilities
Test Planning & Strategy
- Contribute to the Overall Test Strategy & Approach.
- Provide input to Test Plans for all test phases.
Test Analysis & Preparation
- Analyse requirements and design documents to create test cases and prerequisites.
- Write test scenarios and test cases across all test phases.
- Support test automation, prepare test data, and assist with UAT activities.
- Identify and maintain regression test cases.
Test Execution
- Execute test scenarios and cases as per the agreed schedule across multiple phases and cycles.
Defect & Risk Management
- Identify, log, and support defect triage.
- Report RAID items to the Test Lead/Manager.
- Support reporting into TAG (Test Assurance and Governance) boards.
Test Reporting & Assurance
- Provide periodic test status reports to Test Leads/Managers.
- Contribute to entry/exit criteria, ensuring all prerequisites are met with evidence.
- Support Go/No-Go and routine test checkpoint meetings.
- Ensure all testing aligns with organisational Quality Assurance policies and strategy.
- Participate in peer reviews.
Test Support
- Provide support for UAT and Early Life Support (ELS):
test creation, preparation, execution, defect retesting, regression, demonstrations, etc.
Knowledge & Documentation
- Support knowledge management throughout the test lifecycle.
- Create Knowledge Transfer (KT) documentation as required.
- Assist in creating and maintaining the Test RTM (Requirements Traceability Matrix).
