  • 37 hours per week
  • Permanent

Reporting into the Strategic Lead - Regulatory Compliance, as the Estates and Inspections Manager you will manage the Neighbourhood Caretakers and Clerk of work teams as their work is closely aligned with compliance, particularly in relation to Health and Safety inspections and the monitoring of capital improvements for fire safety.

You will be responsible for ensuring the Clerk of works are effective in providing high value contracts, monitoring of work, ensuring robust evidence of works to the required quality standards, as well as managing the Neighbourhood Caretakers to ensure the neighbourhoods are well maintained and communal spaces are safe.

You will:

  • set and monitor your team's performance objectives, identify development opportunities and provide leadership and ensure strategic objectives are delivered.
  • require an HND/HNC in a related field. You will have current experience of UK construction and building regulations, a good understanding of Health and Safety law relating to construction and environmental protection legislation, and previous experience of line management.

We are developing a more focussed approach to policy and strategy development. We are ambitious and want someone who can support us with overseeing the legislative and policy horizon, identifying need for changes and opportunities to further improve the service we deliver.
