Position: Resident Building Manager
Location: Southwood Park, London, N6 5SG
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 0800 - 1700 and alternate Saturdays 0800 - 1200 (occasionally may be required to deal with emergencies out of hours)
Salary: Remuneration from £30,000.00 per annum dependent on experience and accommodation option.

Development Details:
Southwood Park Ltd, a lovely, private estate of 74 flats in Highgate, north London, is looking to recruit an Estate Manager. This is an amazing opportunity for someone interested in considering a career in this field. The ideal candidate will be looking to expand their skills base but have a natural aptitude for organisation and customer service. Instruction and training in all aspects of the estate management will be provided.
The role comes with a spacious, one bedroom, duplex apartment on the estate fully paid (but candidates living out will also be considered).
Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
As a Resident Building Manager at Rendall & Rittner, you will:
- Responsible for the operational management of the estate, ensuring high site standards across presentation, cleanliness, health and safety, staff management, safety and security.
- Managing the front of house duties, ensuring resident queries and complaints are responded to in a timely manner.
- Ensuring Rendall and Rittner Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and Health and Safety policies are implemented and adhered to.
- Undertake first responder training, this will be provided and funded by the company, to handle any minor emergencies. Swimming pool water testing will also be required.
- Managing the site team including employed staff and any agency or contracted staff.
- Conducting daily site inspections around the estate, ensuring health and safety compliance and reporting any issues.
- Managing any contractors coming to site, ensuring all documentation is properly checked and logged. Overseeing budgets and ensuring quality and value.
- Managing reactive and planned preventative maintenance, ensuring everything is properly logged, reported and remedials are actioned accordingly.
- Carrying out the necessary cleaning and maintenance duties as required.
- Managing parcel deliveries by receiving, logging, and distributing packages to residents in a timely manner. Utilise a tracking system to maintain accurate records of deliveries.
- Assist with various tasks around the development, including responding to resident inquiries, providing support during emergencies, and addressing maintenance issues as needed.
- Empty bins every morning and ensure waste is managed appropriately.
- Address minor wear and tear issues, such as changing lightbulbs and unblocking drains
