Escalations Account Manager (Part-time, 12-month FTC/Secondment)

About The Role

Motability Operations are currently recruiting for an Escalations Account Manager to join our team on a part-time basis working 20-hours per week. Working shifts between the hours of 08:00-18:00 Monday to Friday.

You'll have the exciting opportunity to manage unplanned events for customers that fall outside of standard Mobility Operation procedures. This includes, resolution of escalated enquiries, investigating misuse and allegations of abuse towards the scheme and supporting our Powered Wheelchair and Scooter customers with complex queries.

About You

You'll be a confident communicator at all levels around the business and externally with business partners and customers

You can demonstrate empathy and listen to customer concerns whilst balancing business needs

You'll be effective at negotiation and foster strong relationships with both customers and external partner

You need to manage your own time and workload with minimal supervision, remain calm under pressure

You'll be resilient, take ownership and can work independently and as part of a team

Minimum criteria:

  • Experience of working in a customer focused environment, meeting KPI's and targets monthly
  • Clear and articulate telephone manner with the ability to deliver difficult messages
  • A genuine interest in providing excellent Customer Service
  • Ability to manage your own time effectively to meet the demand of your customer base
  • Relationship building with other areas of a business or with business partners to deliver exceptional Customer Services

What we do

We lease a wide range of tailored mobility solutions to people who receive of one of the Government's qualifying mobility allowances. Our customers choose a car, Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV), scooter or powered wheelchair that best suits their needs. We take care of their insurance, breakdown, servicing and more, as part of our worry-free package.

At the end of the lease, our customers can exchange their vehicle for a brand-new model. Each year we sell and move around 200,000 cars. This makes us the largest supplier of single-source vehicles back into the used car market.

The Scheme has been providing affordable, worry-free motoring for over 45 years. We pride ourselves on delivering outstanding customer service, with an independent customer satisfaction rating of 9.6 out of 10.
