ERP Implementation Project Manager (Fixed Term)

We are looking for an ERP Implementation Manager who is passionate about actively contributing to Liquidline's evolution. This 18 month (minimum) fixed term role will support the company in executing the implementation of a new ERP System while ensuring stakeholder needs are met.

This role will own the project from end to end, including scoping with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (including CE (CRM) and Field Service), though to fully integrated launch. The role will oversee data migration from the current system through to working with the internal team to design and deliver user training.

You will be a skilled negotiator and natural influencer. Whilst the role requires a high degree of IT literacy, the overarching requirement of the role is to take full ownership for the project and support with the delivery. The Project Manager should have strong relationship management skills and be prepared to assess and evaluate external parties.
The Role

  • Working with the existing IT team and any identified 3rd parties to ensure delivery.
  • Work closely with the system providers.
  • Build a workable roadmap, based on SMART principles, with clear project milestones.
  • Have clearly defined escalation points for each area of the project.
  • Be able to translate technical specifications language to be easily understood by various technical and non-technical levels of stakeholders.
  • Oversee the data migration process from legacy to new systems- this may include day-to-day management of a technical migration constant.
  • Oversee end to end testing.
  • Take ownership of the Steering Committees; this role will set agendas and chair the Steering Committees to ensure timely and appropriate decision making to meet project objectives.
  • Ensure the project is delivered on time, on specification and on budget in line with communications and expectations aligned with the senior leadership team.

What you will need in the role of ERP Implementation Project Manager

  • To be an experienced professional who has overseen several IT implementation projects and worked in complex matrix organisations.
  • Ability to monitor all facets of the project throughout its life cycle.
  • To be hands on and efficient when dealing with issues.
  • A high level of organisation to self-manage workload and work independently.
  • To be adept at identifying risks or issues and raise these appropriately.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • To be a commercially minded inspirational Leader.
  • Reliable and committed to delivering right first time and to deadline.
  • Friendly and supportive of others; a great team player.
