Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Emergency Preparedness Resilience and Response (EPRR) and Business Continuity and Lead for Mortuaries, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the EPRR work programme for the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital Foundation Trust.

- Trust Values
- Qualification in EPRR or working towards
- Qualification in BC or working towards
- Training qualification or experience of teaching
- Motivational skills to encourage collaborative working to improve services/performance where there may be resistance to change
- Support the development of Incident Response Plans such as flu pandemic, adverse weather, evacuation, and major incident plans
- Responsibility for a range of policy interpretation, implementation and policy development
- Knowledge of key legislation and guidance underpinning EPRR functions
- Project management
- Excellent organisational skills, including high level of accuracy and ability to work to tight deadlines
- Role model of professionalism even when under work pressures
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative with minimum supervision
Desirable criteria
- HMIMMS Instructor
- Senior EMERGO Instructor
- Experience of EPRR work within the NHS

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
