Who we need & what you will bring
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the English and Maths department for a motivated and organised individual to become a Campus Manager of English at our Basford campus.
We are looking for an outstanding and inspirational teacher who has a specialism in English.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of motivating colleagues to raise attainment across a wide range of students, you will take the lead in developing schemes of work and monitoring the Quality of Education delivered within the area.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate outstanding interpersonal skills and be a proactive and motivated individual. As a manager you will be responsible for supporting and developing the English curriculum and leading a team of English teachers to ensure we provide the very best experience for our students that are resitting this subject alongside their vocational studies.
The role will sit within our English and maths leadership team and involve collaboration with Assistant Principal at Basford campus and cross college teams such as MIS, you must have the ability to form supportive working relationships to be successful within this role.
Those with a background in other phases or sectors of education, with an English specialism are encouraged to apply as we recognise the value of wider experience and the transferability of the core leadership skills we are looking for.
