A Snapshot of Your Day

Being part of the Grid Automation team as a Engineering Manager you have the full responsibility for successful execution of engineering substation secondary system in AC substations. You will manage and lead teams in charge of technical solutions design, fulfilling customer specifications and engineering standards, checking and ensuring compliance over the domains, obeying laws and regulations. You will plan and allocate resources and budgets to engineering activities, committing workforce proficiency and capability to conduct the assignments in time and quality. Teamwork with Bid Managers, Project Managers and suppliers in the field of secondary systems is your key to success.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Handle specification for Protection, Automation, and Control systems in AC projects.
  • Allocate resources based on capabilities and availability.
  • Ensure fulfillment of all customer functional and technical requirements.
  • Take corrective action for schedule divergences.
  • Provide technical support for customer offers and subcontractors.
  • Implement continuous improvement for engineering solutions and lean processes.
  • Research new technical solutions for secondary systems.
  • Supervise and assure quality of the engineering team and subcontractors.

What You Bring

  • Completed degree in electrical, electronic or equivalent engineering, automation or similar.
  • Extensive professional experience in secondary systems engineering
  • Comprehensive knowledge of engineering standards applicable to the local market
  • Working experience with cubicle assembly factories, protection and automation design, testing and commissioning teams
  • Leadership experience with intercultural teams.
  • Deep knowledge of secondary systems manufacturers leaders in local market
  • Experience working in brownfield and greenfield projects for secondary systems in HV substations
  • Digital solution understanding and previous experience. Working knowledge of tools needed for electrical design, parameterization and configuration of secondary systems solutions.
