What You'll Bring:

We're looking for someone with a mix of knowledge, experience, and expertise in:
• Team Management: Experience in leading and mentoring teams, including 121s, reviews and development sessions to drive high performance. You will be responsible for leading a squad of expert engineers.
• You're a front-end Maestro! Your knack for writing semantic, accessible and modular code with React and JavaScript frameworks including NextJS & Remix, gives you the right grounding to guide your teams through complexed technical journeys in the Cloud.
• Championing Agile ways of working with your team, utilising agile methodologies partnering with Product to own the roadmap of new features and functionality.
• API Integration: Proficiency in integrating with services using RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Testing Mastery: Strong testing skills, from code quality and security to ensuring seamless customer journeys and accessibility

What We'd Love You to Know or Learn:
CI/CD Pipelines: Practical experience setting up and running CI/CD pipelines, ideally with GitHub Actions.
Design Principles: Using Storybook, embracing atomic design principles, and contributing to design language systems.
BFF Architecture: Familiarity with Backend for Front End (BFF) architecture.
Monitoring Expertise: An understanding of monitoring and observability to ensure high-quality product performance.
