Salary: Up to £66,580 (dependent on skills and experience)

What you’ll be doing:

  • Delivery of the Physical Integration detailed design output of identified sub systems within the Combat System

  • Delivery of delegated Zonal Design Combat Systems outputs

  • Engineering management of Margins and Budgets within the whole ship design for identified sub systems within the Combat Systems

  • Engineering management of requirements and change within the Combat System for identified systems within the Combat Systems

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Extensive experience of Physical integration of a Combat System in a Naval environment

  • Skilled in navigating significant change, demonstrating adaptability in task execution while consistently upholding essential behaviours

  • Strong influencing skills within a multi-disciplinary team environment

  • Maintaining effective partnerships with a wide variety of Internal and External stakeholders including customers, and other internal technical teams

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in a managerial role

The Combat Systems Team:

The Canadian River Class Destroyer (RCD) is one of the Global Combat Ship (GCS) designs based on the UK Navy’s Type 26. The RCD is adding Combat Systems from around the world, including the US AEGIS system. You will have the opportunity to shape the design of this destroyer whilst developing and enhancing your skills and knowledge.
