The Role
This leadership position is responsible for overseeing a team of multi-skilled engineers within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. You'll drive performance, ensure compliance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Working as a key member of the site leadership team, you'll play a key role in maintaining equipment reliability, supporting production efficiency, and implementing strategic engineering initiatives that align with Sofina's values and business goals.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of multiskilled engineers to achieve departmental KPIs.
- Ensure all engineering activities comply with health, safety, and food safety standards.
- Manage planned and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime.
- Collaborate with production and technical teams to support operational goals.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across equipment and processes.
- Monitor and report on engineering performance metrics.
- Support capital projects and equipment upgrades.
- Drive the use of engineering reporting to glean meaningful insight.
- Manage spare parts inventory and supplier relationships.
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and innovation.
