Pay Rate: £55,000 - £56,000
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:00
Location: Doncaster - DN4 5PD

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Engineering Manager to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• Manage planned and reactive maintenance and project work within an automated warehouse.
• Maintain a close focus on factory-floor activities, particularly in respect of the full and useful occupation of your staff and their work standards and discipline.
• Establish a training plan for all sections of engineering, and to implement this to ensure sufficient skills and knowledge are in place for the engineering department to carry out its responsibilities effectively.
• Be responsible for the cost control of all projects, services, plant and building maintenance for the site including the engineering stores and ensuring that costs are maintained within the annual budget.
• To be contactable outside of normal working hours if a major malfunction / breakdown occurs that may require specific skills to resolve.

• Level 4 in Engineering - Electrical/Mechanical (Essential)
• Understanding of facilities and equipment in an automated warehouse
