We are now building and scaling our engineering teams in London and we are looking for an experienced, hands-on Engineering Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to be one of our first Engineering Managers based in London and shape the future of our R&D teams in the site.
You join a team which offers a unique opportunity to balance between deep technological challenges and product development - serving our enterprise customers and working with our biggest clients. You will drive the development of infrastructure features that shape our product's future from UI to database.
Some of the projects you might be involved in include:
- Allowing monetization of new products and apps within our platform
- Building our new enterprise admin console for users and team management
- Enhancing our platform security offering
- Redesigning our search and navigation experience, spanning from Elasticsearch, data model to UX

Please note this is a hybrid position of 3 days/week in our London office (Fitzrovia).
About The Role
You will work with experienced and highly talented engineers - who love what they do - with cutting-edge technologies in a data and impact-driven environment. We promote transparency, full ownership, teamwork, and a no-ego policy.
Our engineering department comprises different groups, each responsible for a crucial domain in the monday.com product. With over 300 engineers, we operate as part of cross-functional teams, defining, improving, building, and delivering features collaboratively.

What you will do:
- Lead and centralize team activities, including new feature development, automation, testing, bug management, and Agile planning.
- Develop features end-to-end, collaborating with UI/UX design, and taking ownership from conception to post-deployment analysis.
- Drive R&D domain leadership, influencing company product architecture and craftsmanship.
- Evolve our architecture and engineering to support a growing scale of users, features, and data.
- Manage a team of highly talented developers in a CI/CD environment using cutting-edge technologies.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Design teams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Our tech stack: React.JS, Redux, Node.js, Ruby on Rails, AWS, Elasticsearch, Redis, MySQL.
Note: Prior experience with our tech stack is not required; we welcome people willing to learn.
Requirements
- 3+ years of proven management experience, leading projects from start to finish.
- Experience building web applications from scratch in a production environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to break down complex requirements into actionable tasks.
- Impact-driven, user, and business-oriented mindset.
- Strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
