About King's:

The Engineering Asset Data Manager sits within the Engineering Services Team. The role works closely with the Engineering Chiefs and Heads to ensure asset data is collated and added to our CAFM system.

About the role:

The Engineering Asset Data Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the life cycle of assets maintained/managed by Engineering on our CAFM system. These assets can include machinery, equipment, infrastructure, facilities, and any other tangible resources critical to the functioning of the organisation. The role involves a combination of technical, system management, and strategic responsibilities.

This will be achieved by managing the CAFM system by adding, tracking and validating asset information, including maintenance records, performance data, images and historical information. Using data analytics to make informed decisions about asset performance and efficiency. You will ensure assets are regularly validated / spot checks on assets organised by the Teams and collaborate with other departments to identify the organisation's needs and ensure that assets align with overall business objectives e.g. Projects/Space.

The Engineering Asset Data Manager also works closely with the Engineering PPM Manager to ensure that statutory and mandatory planned maintenance is scheduled and managed (with regards to assets.)

This is a full time post (35 hours per week), and you will be offered an indefinite contract

About You: (the candidate)

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:

Essential criteria

  1. Relevant qualification in asset management or asset management experience
  2. Strong Health and Safety knowledge, good knowledge of statutory compliance and understanding of critical assets
  3. Excellent IT skills including Excel, Power BI, SharePoint
  4. Analytical and problem-solving skills
  5. Independent worker, comfortable working with all levels
  6. Excellent CAFM experience (ideally Planon)
  7. Knowledge of planned maintenance and SFG20
  8. Record keeping experience

Desirable criteria

  1. IOSH Managing Safely / NEBOSH
