We have an exciting new opportunity for an Energy Support Assistant to support our Facilities and Energy Team in controlling utilities usage and costs across the UK and ROI estate including 300 stores, distribution centres, Customer Service Centres and office locations.
You'll support the documentation management and audits of our ISO50001 certification and SECR (Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting) as well as supporting site surveys and investigations.
Working on a hybrid basis, you'll be required work at our office in Waterloo, London a couple of times a month with occasional travel to our other sites at least twice a month.
Role overview:
As part of this role, you'll be responsible for:
- Managing EV chargers and consumption - checking monthly bills and usage and reporting
- Managing issues from chargers and usage reporting
- Reviewing monthly energy reporting to check and investigate variances to budget by area
- Using benchmarking data to investigate sites that have higher than expected energy consumptions
- Reporting and tracking energy consumptions for projects such as LED and HVAC replacements and including night works and other operational changes including night works, third party works and filming
- ISO 50001 auditing support - managing Documentation and six-monthly auditing
- Supporting and developing basic retail energy knowledge training development and delivery for new colleagues
You will need:
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel with experience of managing and manipulating data to produce reporting insights
- Strong IT literacy
- Excellent communications skills
- Stakeholder management skills with a passion to influence
- Full valid UK driving licence
- Experience in the management of energy consumption would be advantageous
