Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and ambitious Energy Manager to join our Team and play a crucial role in managing our utility systems, reducing costs, and ensuring regulatory compliance. In this position, you'll have the opportunity to leverage your technical expertise and analytical skills and work on exciting continuous improvement projects to make a significant impact on our operations and environmental footprint.
- Optimize utility costs and performance through data-driven decision making and strategic planning
- Engage with internal stakeholders to drive energy efficiency and identify improvement opportunities
- Manage relationships with utility providers and regulatory partners, including procurement and compliance
- Develop and maintain asset management plans for metering and data collection systems
- Serve as a key partner to the Energy Centre, driving energy efficiency and improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with utility management or in sectors where energy efficiency is critical
- Higher level qualification in a technical subject (Chemistry, Engineering, Data Science or other related field)
- Proficiency in Excel, and ERP or CMMS software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment
