Person specification
Qualifications or their equivalent
Essential criteria
- Educated to intermediate level eg: NVQ level 3, BTEC or equivalent knowledge and experience
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Intranet and Internet and other relevant computer applications.
Desirable criteria
- Extensive knowledge and experience of Outlook diaries.
- Excel qualification.
Work Experience
Essential criteria
- Development and maintenance of robust systems to ensure effective administration and organisation.
- Experience of staff management including staff rotas.
Desirable criteria
- Two years' experience working in an office environment within a healthcare setting.
- Experience of Management of Change issues.
Skills & Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Good communicator - written and oral.
- Ability to prioritise and organise work to provide an effective quality of service.
Desirable criteria
- Knowledge and experience of the Gastrointestinal Reporting and Scheduling Tool, Unisoft.
- Knowledge and experience of the Trust recording tool for staff absence, EASy.
