We have an exciting opportunity for an Employer Engagement Manager to join our East London Institute of Technology (ELIoT) team team here at Barking & Dagenham College

This role is on a permanent, full-time basis, and offers a competitive salary of £33,101 - £35,899 pa inc London Weighting.

The role:

In this role you will be responsible for the development and implementation of an employer engagement strategy specifically within ELIoT, which leads to growth in good quality technical and higher-level provisions

Key Responsibilities of our Employer Engagement Manager:

  • Maintain high levels of expertise relating to ELIoT
  • Develop associated marketing material for each area of specialism
  • Develop and manage high level relationships with key networks/partners/universities
  • Identify bidding opportunities to meet income targets and support the production of submissions
  • Identify, engage, and manage partnerships to expand ELIoT's network
  • Arrange, oversee and manage key accounts, ensuring high standards of customer service
  • Lead on Technical Skills Advisory Group (TSAG) meetings
  • Provide personalised, impartial, and realistic advice to students and direct them to appropriate support services as needed

Our ideal candidate should have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Level 2 English and Maths is a must, and it is desirable that the candidate also has a Level 2 IT qualification
  • Level 3 or above Qualification in Sales Management or Marketing or Business Development is desirable
  • Proven track record working successfully with SMEs
  • Demonstrative experience of strong professional relationships with key strategic clients
  • Proven track record of delivering outstanding results through highly effective leadership qualities and a structured approach to planning for success
  • Must be able to demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills
  • A Full UK Driving Licence is essential to this role
