Job Title: Employee Portal Lead

Location: Preston. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: Circa £31,500

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assessing change requests and prioritising them using a scorecard to ensure change for back office teams is managed fairly and consistency on a weighted basis to determine the priority
  • Providing back office support to Employee & Business Support teams across the ServiceNow toolset including change and continuous improvements
  • Testing of changes and platform upgrades
  • Supporting knowledge administration and feedback where required to ensure self-help remains up to date and fit for purpose by mitigating phone and email contact wherever possible
  • Ensure robust governance and control of all changes; updating all operational material – instructions, guides, training material, knowledge articles etc

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Administration / Communication
  • Understanding of business change processes
  • Experience of using ServiceNow
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP’s & pivot tables)
  • Objection handling

Desirable:

  • Supervisory or management experience

The Employee Service Centre team:

You will champion an exceptional employee experience on the Employee Service Centre (ESC) portal. You will be the primary liaison, collaborating with back-office teams to understand their needs and translating them into actionable ServiceNow Stories (STRYs) for developers, ensuring they align with ServiceNow best practices.
