RESPONSIBILITIES
- Through sales and marketing efforts, help ensure the Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) DCS Sales & Client Solution's team, reaches its sales growth targets.
- Responsible for all aspects of business development solutions; including financials, solutioning, development of win strategy, participation in client-facing meetings, and contract negotiations.
- Acts as a thought partner and advisor to the DCS Alliance Directors in their own specific marketing and business development activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contribute to all sales and marketing efforts from lead generation through relationship management.
- Secure new client accounts for GWS DCS business by all means including cultivation of new opportunities through inside sales strategies with colleagues to external networking, cold calling, etc.
- Develop marketing and sales strategy and goals for assigned area/region or client type.
- Partner with/Support Sales Leader(s) throughout the RFP process to include: define win strategy; establish the pursuit team; develop the value proposition; design financial & organizational models and other goals as assigned.
- Work with Sales & Client Solutions team to understand the sales needs and identify potential client targets of the team.
- Gain and utilize knowledge of GWS Enterprise solutions for prospective and current client's requirements/needs.
- Report status of pursuit activity and results to the D/MD/SMD/EMD as requested.
- Develop solutions within the practice framework to meet the prospective and current client's needs.
- Participate in sales presentations and workshops to prospective and current clients as well as firm personnel.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance and/or training to coworkers.
- May lead project teams and/or plan and supervise assignments of lower level employees.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university, or relevant experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience in sales, business development and/or consulting preferred. 5 years' experience in real estate with an emphasis on outsourced facilities and project management strongly preferred.
