Job Purpose and Summary

We have an exciting new opportunity to join the Canon EMEA Team as a Partner Programme Manager. The successful candidate will own and manage the Canon Partner Programme across EMEA. This will include co-managing the partner channel strategy alongside the Sales functions to radically improve our ability to execute profitable sales through the indirect model. You will be responsible for maximising market coverage and new business / markets penetration.

  • Define and manage a framework of Partner benefits and entitlements, ensuring clear qualification criteria.
  • Drive the ongoing evolution of the Independent Canon Business Centre (CBCi) Formula, ensuring its relevance and impact across the Partner network.
  • Develop and oversee a policy for Marketing Development Funds (MDF), ensuring alignment with central strategic goals.
  • Initiate and recommend upgrades to Partner tools and lead distribution processes, enabling continuous improvement and ease of use.
  • Continuously review, refresh, and optimise the Partner Programme, integrating new initiatives to maintain competitiveness and relevance.
  • Lead structured annual updates to the Partner Programme, ensuring alignment with market trends and stakeholder expectations.
  • Drive the optimisation of the Partner Journey by continuously updating and enhancing Partner Programme content and tools.
  • Influence and support the implementation of Partner enablement programmes, including certifications and education initiatives, in collaboration with the Learning and Development function.
  • Control annual Partner level review cycles, supporting NSOs in transitioning Partners across levels based on performance metrics.
  • Report on and optimise Partner performance using analytics, driving continuous improvements in Partner management.
  • Launch and manage Partner surveys to gather insights, ensuring data informs programme improvements and updates.
  • Benchmark and analyse competitor programmes to refine strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Drive Partner engagement and performance by providing remedial actions, best practices, and guidance.
  • Influence key aspects of the Indirect Channel strategy to align with broader organisational goals and support Partner success.
  • Ensure the ROI of Partner benefits or entitlements by creating business cases and tracking outcomes.
  • Align the EMEA Partner recruitment strategy with key stakeholders, ensuring seamless integration into the broader Partner Programme.
  • Collaborate with local and central teams to implement Partner enablement programmes, harmonise the EMEA Partner recruitment strategy, and drive Partner engagement.
  • Provide guidance, education, and best practices to support effective onboarding, Partner development, and the introduction of high-return initiatives that enhance marketing effectiveness through process automation.
  • Develop, validate, launch and measure new benefits and entitlements to support the acquisition and retention whilst fostering recognition and boosting Partner engagement

You will be part of an energetic and innovative environment with more than 50 different nationalities at our state-of-the-art EMEA HQ at Stockley Park, Uxbridge.

You will need

  • Experience of managing, developing and executing successful pan European or global Partner Programmes in technology or services led complex environments.
  • Background and experience in Marketing and Sales is preferable
  • Clear understanding and experience working within an Indirect business model
  • Experience in the delivery of complex projects with focus on outcomes
  • Ability to work in central functions, influence local teams and deliver on time
  • Proven expertise in establishing relationships with channel partners incl. IT Resellers, SI's, VAR's etc
  • Ability to influence and coach multiple and/or senior stakeholders
  • Able to challenge established thinking and to work collaboratively with sales
  • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent programme management skills
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Suite, including advanced excel
  • Ability to travel as needed for the role
  • Clear and inspiring communicator, Vision and creativity, that delivers!
  • Bachelor's degree is preferre

This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
Our offices are based in Stockley Park, Uxbridge.
