As our email and CRM manager, you'll develop, build and optimise email campaigns and automations - implementing highly relevant, personalised customer journeys to improve engagement with Valla and increase conversion and ARPU.
Contract: 6-months fixed term
Salary: £48,000 per annum (pro rata)

Every year, 7.5 million adults in the UK face a legal problem, but too often, people can't afford to pay a lawyer. Our AI-powered legal platform is built to solve this problem. Using Valla, consumers can collect evidence, manage their case, and connect with lawyers for fixed-priced advice.
Valla was founded in 2020 to make legal services accessible and affordable to everyone. Starting with UK employment law, Valla has helped thousands of people navigate the complex legal process and manage their workplace issues from grievance to tribunal and resolution.
We're now growing monthly with 10,000 users signed up and loads of positive feedback from both our users and the legal industry. What you'll do
As our email and CRM manager, you'll review, develop and optimise our email campaigns and automations to create highly relevant, personalised customer journeys that improve engagement with Valla.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute email and CRM strategy
- Use customer insights, data, and automation to create highly relevant, personalised email campaigns
- Develop email campaigns to support customers through every stage of their legal journey
- Develop and optimise lifecycle campaigns to increase lead/signup engagement, conversion, revenue and ARPU
- Use performance data, customer journey mapping and insights to identify opportunities to improve lead/signup engagement, conversion and ARPU
- Work with the marketing team and designer to create new landing pages and marketing assets to support email campaigns
- Work with our technical/legal writer to review or develop any new content needed
- Monitor performance, stay on top of industry trends, data and email best practice
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and maintain accurate CRM data
You'll have freedom to decide the specific work to do - there's plenty of data, insights, content, and opportunity to work with and we'll welcome your opinions.
Experience
- 5+ years hands-on email marketing automation experience, preferably in a tech startup/scaleup
- 5+ years experience managing marketing/email automation and CRM systems, ideally Hubspot and Sendgrid
- Deep understanding of GDPR compliance, data and email marketing best practices
- Strong communication skills and email copy writing

For this role, we are looking for someone working five days a week within UK business hours. The work is fully remote.
