The EHS team operates as a truly global function, with team members strategically placed in London, Dubai, the USA, Singapore, and China. The ideal candidate will drive reasonable accommodation/adjustment policy, process, and assessment management across EMEA, ensure legislation compliance, and support the integration of the program to support the EHS team's overall goal of creating a safe, healthy workplace with equal opportunities for all. This role requires the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, and to have strong technological proficiency.

Responsibilities
- Global EHS System Implementation & Local Adaptation: Support the implementation of the Global EHS Management System by developing regionally compliant procedures and guidance for stakeholders across EMEA, ensuring alignment with global standards.
- EHS Subject Matter Expertise & Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the regional EHS subject matter expert, supporting regional business partners and company-wide projects while building trusted relationships with stakeholders and managing expectations.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all regulatory requirements and industry best practices are met, including risk assessments, audits, employee training, and inspections. Maintain routine documentation and manage the EHS compliance.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Develop and monitor regional strategies for EHS performance, preparing and communicating regular reports to EHS and regional leadership.
- Resource & Vendor Management: Effectively manage EHS resources, external consultants, and third-party associates, ensuring they align with company objectives.
- Change Management & Continuous Improvement: Execute change management requirements as directed by the EHS CoE and Global Head of EHS, and assist in delivering global EHS objectives by supporting team members and improving EHS culture and performance.
- Incident Evaluation & Risk Mitigation: Evaluate incident data, track corrective/preventive actions, and organise meetings and site plans to identify and assess operational EHS risks.
- Health & Wellbeing Initiatives: Promote and support the development of health and wellbeing programs, ensuring these initiatives align with local needs and global objectives, including managing onsite clinics and employee health services.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, a related discipline or equivalent practical experience (a minimum of five years of experience in EHS).
- GradIOSH, or other professional designation(s).
- Knowledgeable in the environment, health, safety, or a related field.
- Excellent working knowledge of local, regional, and national compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Willing to travel, internationally.
- Flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business.
- Ability to work independently and drive results.

Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience supporting health and wellness initiatives at a company level, as well as ergonomics program.
- Strong computer-based skills, able to produce reports and working documents to an exceptional standard.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, influence and advise local employees to achieve positive EHS outcomes.
- Excellent collaboration, project management, and written and verbal communication skills.
