Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you passionate about driving meaningful change in Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI)? Join our EDI team at Northumbria to deliver transformative EDI initiatives that align with our bold University Strategy.

As an EDI Manager you will play a pivotal role in fostering a workplace and community that positively welcomes diversity and embeds equality, diversity and inclusion into everything that we do. You will develop, lead, and manage a diverse range of projects and initiatives that champion EDI and propel the University forward on its journey to becoming an even more inclusive institution.

As an experienced professional in the EDI field, you will bring a wealth of knowledge from working in large, complex organisations, and you'll thrive in building strong relationships with stakeholders at every level. Your expertise will drive sustainable change, ensuring that we reduce inequality and foster a culture of belonging for all. You'll have the chance to lead projects, drive the achievement of equality benchmarks and charter marks, and deliver real, lasting change that resonates across the entire organisation.

To be successful, you'll need excellent communication and report-writing skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality written content across multiple channels. You'll also have proven experience in managing multiple EDI projects, ensuring they align with our strategic priorities.
