It's an exciting time for us as a business and we are now looking to grow our team and hire a new eCommerce Project Manager.
About YOU and your background:
- You might be an Account Manager at an agency with brilliant organisational skills looking to get more hands-on working and have technical interest and/or experience
- Maybe you've built and project managed websites, to understand users, their intentions and how to drive conversions and want to dive deeper in how it all works
- Perhaps you work in eCommerce at a retailer, but have worked with stakeholders, agencies and developers to deliver changes and projects
- Perhaps you've done some development or technical support, but enjoy the business facing side more
About the role:
- The eCommerce Project Manager role is varied and diverse, so we are keeping an open mind in terms of backgrounds and level of experience. If you are a keen problem solver, can communicate complex ideas to others and have an experience and/or interest in tech and eCommerce then this role might be for you
- No two days will be the same! You'll work with clients, designers, developers and other project managers to deliver exciting eCommerce projects
- There will be a high degree of autonomy for our new eCommerce Project Manager so self organisation, accuracy, attention to detail and personal admin skills are a must
What you'll do:
- Develop and manage relationships with new and existing clients
- Support the delivery of end to end web and software projects, ensuring transparent communication and progress reports to stakeholders
- Gather detailed requirements and translate them into a functional specification for the development team
- Work with the development team and ensure timely delivery of development projects and tasks
- Proactively and continuously review and identify eCommerce growth opportunities for our clients and implement these into a development roadmap
- Proactively identify any suboptimal internal processes and bring suggestions for improvement
- Provide regular business reporting and insights to the Client Services Director, Senior Project Manager and clients
Requirements
Skills and Experience
Essential
- Excellent communication skills: verbal, written and face-to-face as well as the ability to communicate technical problems to non-technical people
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
- Great attention to detail and process driven
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to prioritise own workload and priorities as required
- Self-motivation and commercial acumen
- UK based only with valid right to work
Desirable
- Experience working with and on eCommerce web projects ( Magento / Adobe Commerce / Shopify / BigCommerce / WooCommerce highly advantageous)
- Knowledge of CMS, CRM, Web Apps
- Technical background with an ability in addressing accessibility, compatibility, and integration challenges
- Digital account, project or ecommerce management experience
- Hands on experience in building websites
- Advertising, marketing and sales experience
- An understanding of paid marketing and Google Analytics
- Competent with Excel, including data tables, pivot tables, formulas
Currently we all work remotely, however we have regular team meetups a few times a month. These include team collaboration days, work hacks and social outings. Working together and spending time with each other is important to all of us, so in the future we will keep being partially office based.
