Sitting as part of our Group Digital Centre of Excellence, this role operates across all our businesses [or banners] across Europe. Our Centres of Excellence support banner growth and performance through subject matter expertise, innovation, and knowledge sharing. Our Ecommerce Project Manager will co-create and lead streams of work to drive revenue, profit and operational efficiencies, in retail banners and across the group. You will use your influencing and communication skills to guide both local teams and senior managers to deliver against our ambitious plans. You'll champion bringing new knowledge into the organisation, as well as advocating the sharing of best practice across the group.

What's the job?

  • Supporting Banner priorities to drive revenue and profitability improvements.
  • Manage a program of key workstreams, delivering against key KPIs and timelines.
  • Support the Digital and Data leadership team to develop med/long term growth strategies, through exceptional communication of Insights and actions.
  • Develop projects and initiatives, coordinate cross-functional teams across the international organization (including the marketplace teams, digital, retail, marketing, supply chain, and finance) and communicate with internal and external parties, while meeting tight deadlines for high visibility projects.
  • Engage and co-ordinate Strategic initiatives/change required across banner and cross function dependencies, e.g. Banner Supply Chains, to achieve profitability improvements and sales growth.
  • Stay connected to the external market to identify the new and emerging trends, technologies and channels which will be powering digital revenue and profitability in future years, and share this insight back into the business.
  • Articulate ideas which demonstrate a clear path to implementation and business value/growth.
  • Identify non-organic New Business growth opportunities for E Commerce that would deliver incremental sales and profit.

What you'll bring

  • Significant experience and expertise in retail across multiple functions.
  • Proven experience of delivery within an e-Commerce context, to drive revenue and profit.
  • Experience of working in a multi-national group environment with proven success of building effective ways of working between central and local teams; aligning action plans and facilitating sharing of best practice across multiple remote teams.
  • Strong & Confident communication skills, with ability to develop high impact, strategic messages to board room level audience.
  • Ability to convey complex issues in a simple manner.
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
  • Experience of working in an agile, fast paced environment.
