Room Manager / Third in Charge - Kindergarten
We have a beautiful setting in Flax Bourton which opened in June 2022, easily accessible from so many places in Bristol and North Somerset. Red Bus has been operating as a company for over 11 years. We are searching for a serious player to join our management team to head up our 30 place 2-3 year old Kindergarten area. You would be joining an established team of other Room Managers who work closely with our Practice Manager and Early Years Manager to offer the best possible opportunities for children and the best place for staff to work. You will be responsible for team management of up to 12 staff, to positively lead and motivate an existing team. You will be partly supernumerary to support your delivery in this role and within the room you will be supported by your own Assistant Room Manager and Lead Practitioners.
Third in charge - depending on the experience of the individual appointed, there is either an immediate opportunity to also be appointed as Third in Charge, to be a key holder and step up within the wider management team when required such as holiday cover, or an opportunity to work towards this.
We are looking for an experienced individual with a positive outlook and you must have had supervisory or management experience. You will want to make a difference to the lives of our children. - Base salary of £29,224 per annum, £1,000 additional available for anyone with an Early Years Qualification higher than Level 3 or for Forest School or SEN at Level 3, additional £1,500 should Third in Charge be offered
