Part Time - 30 hours a week, Fixed Term for 2 years
Are you a passionate and experienced professional looking to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children? Do you have a proven track record in managing OFSTED regulated early years provision? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as an Early Years Childcare Manager to lead and oversee the work of the Early Years Service in supporting vulnerable children under 5 years of age and their families.
This role requires a dynamic individual who is able to demonstrate strong leadership skills and who has significant experience in managing, motivating and coaching staff teams promoting a positive and inclusive culture.
You will be lively and enthusiastic and will have a passion for early childhood education and services. They will contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to ensure the provision of high quality, inclusive and coordinated multi-agency services are available for vulnerable children to contribute to improving outcomes and reducing disadvantage.
This role includes managing the childcare in our three Local Authority Maintained Children's Centres providing strategic direction and support to the senior leadership team.
This role will lead on the Free Early Education Entitlement for the Disadvantaged Two Year Old's, working in partnership with the wider Early Years Service to ensure high quality early education provision are available across the city. It will also work in partnership with colleagues to ensure a highly responsive and robust model for support in relation to safeguarding children.
