The Role
Senior Campus Coordinator, you will coordinate the entire recruitment process, from creating job requisitions to assessing and selecting candidates, creation of offer letters and contracts, and oversee the onboarding process. You will be responsible for monitoring task completion and acting as a point of contact for business unit recruiters. Additionally, perform 4-eye checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with recruitment policies.
Key Accountabilities
Campus coordination
- You'll support the end-to-end recruitment process, which may include event coordination; video interview/Assessment Centre scheduling and facilitation; managing candidate queries to resolution; updating recruitment trackers and the client Applicant Tracking System; invoice and expense management, onboarding administration and intern and programme management
- Onsite event and Assessment Centre coordination may involve occasional travel within the UK and occasional support for evening events .
- You'll assist the Manager in coordinating activities and allocate workload across an onsite/offshore solution working closely with your client Recruiters
- You'll own the coordination for the hiring campaigns; plan activity to meet key milestone dates (e.g. assessment centre dates; start dates); ensure resource planning is accurately mapped; set up daily targets, milestones, project plans
- You'll track progress of the campaigns, pre-empting possible risks and escalating to instigate actions to resolve challenges
- You'll ensure regular communication with the team to understand on-going requirements and to share progress of activity
Stakeholder and team engagement
- You'll develop a solid understanding of the client's business, strategy, competitors and the campus market
- You'll build strong working relationships between all parties including recruiters, hiring managers, vendors and account stakeholders as well as within the team
- You'll work with colleagues to deliver effective strategies to manage high-volume applications to meet overall demand across multiple positions or geographies
- You'll collaborate on and complete accurate management information and reports including data sets to keep stakeholders continually apprised and updated on the relevant processes.
- You'll report progress on weekly or monthly basis, as requested (MI reporting, KPI, monthly dashboards)
Team and Management Support
- You'll participate in projects outside of the direct team
- You'll identify, propose, and drive forward continuous improvement suggestions e.g. automation, efficiency gains or improvement to candidate experience
- You'll provide subject matter expert support to new team members (Coordinators/offshore teams) by sharing best practice knowledge and approaches; coaching on client and AMS culture; championing AMS internal knowledge and initiatives
Skills & Experience
Must haves:
- Prior/current experience in an Early Careers and Campus Recruitment Admin role
- Experience in team coordination, setting daily targets, monitoring KPIs and SLAs
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and are proactive, organised, responsive and resourceful
- Excellent team player with the ability to coordinate the workload of other team members where required
- Client-focused with outstanding judgment and excellent attention to detail
- You thrive in a fast-paced ambiguous environment and can manage changing priorities while meeting deadlines and keeping the client and team updated
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills and the ability to build long-lasting relationships with candidates, clients and teammates
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel & PowerPoint)
- Working knowledge of recruitment technology and databases
- Ability to conduct process reviews and make suggestions for continuous improvement
- Ability to perform on-the-job training and act as a buddy/mentor to new team members
- Ability to work on and suggest a resolution to a complex issue connected to the process
