As an Early Careers Development Specialist, we are looking for someone to:

  • Scout Talent: Help recruit apprentices and early career candidates through careers events, social media, and partnerships with educational institutions
  • Build Bridges: Foster strong relationships with schools, colleges, and universities to create a robust talent pipeline
  • Get Creative: Work with our marketing team to produce engaging content showcasing early career opportunities
  • Streamline Recruitment: Facilitate top-notch recruitment processes for our apprenticeship programme
  • Enhance Experiences: Ensure candidates have a positive journey from application to onboarding
  • Design Programmes: Create a work experience programme tailored to meet our business needs
  • Stay Ahead: Keep abreast of industry trends to drive innovative initiatives enhancing our brand presence
  • Craft Learning Journeys: Support the development of learning programmes for apprentices and work experience programme participants
  • Kick-off Success: Facilitate orientation sessions and ongoing training to help early career hires thrive
  • Coach and Inspire: Conduct one-on-one coaching and group workshops to promote professional growth and identify suitable mentors across the business as and when required
  • Monitor Impact: Evaluate the effectiveness of our apprenticeship and work experience programmes, using feedback for continuous improvement
  • Insight Generation: Produce insightful reports on early careers activities to track trends and market challenges

Qualifications

Essential

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of the early careers landscape, apprenticeship frameworks, and work experience initiatives
  • Strong planning, organisation, and communication skills to engage diverse groups
  • Excellent stakeholder management abilities
  • A collaborative spirit and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • A growth mindset and a passion for developing talent!
