Battle Sports Centre requires a Duty Manager to ensure the smooth running of the facility during it's opening hours, delivering a high quality and safe experience for all who visit the Centre.
This role involves acting as first point of contact for all sports facility visitors, and as such you must be ready to communicate with a diverse range of clients, including members of the public, children and young people and other user groups.
This position is for 32 hours a week to include evenings and weekends. Please see the job description for full details of the role's responsibilities in the application pack.
The successful applicant will be enthusiastic with great customer service skills and an interest in the sport and leisure industry. It is essential that you have a level 2 or 3 Fitness Instructor Qualification.

The school will need to ensure that they are not knowingly employing a person who is disqualified under the 2018 Regulations in connection with relevant childcare provision. Accordingly, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate to the school, by completing a self-declaration form as part of the pre-employment checks process, that they have not been disqualified under the 2018 Regulations.
If the preferred candidate is found to be disqualified under the 2018 Regulations, the offer of employment will be subject to the application by the preferred candidate to Ofsted for a waiver and the receipt of a waiver from Ofsted.
