Role & Responsibilities
An opportunity has arisen within the Operations department for a proactive, self-motivated and highly organised individual to join our team as a Duty Manager. You will be responsible for supervising the provision of excellent customer services and the day-today operations of the centre. This will include; cleaning, maintenance, preparation of areas & equipment for sessions as appropriate and contributing to the health and safety of such activities. The role will include working early morning, late evenings and weekends on a rota basis.
About you
The post-holder will have previous experience in a supervisory role, will hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (or equivalent) and also a First Aid Certificate. Understanding the importance of Health and Safety in the leisure industry is essential and the candidate should have the ability to deliver a high quality service with minimum supervision. The post-holder should have experience within a wet & dry facility and will be expected to build effective working relationships within the teams, with colleagues and with external partners. They should also be adaptable & flexible and will have the ability to deal with customers and their queries and concerns with tact and diplomacy.
