Responsibilities:

This is a fantastic opportunity to define the strategy and lead on the end-to-end delivery of one of our team's roadmap. As our customers scale, the number of applications they onboard will scale too. They need to be able to handle the increase in work without jeopardising their operational efficiency, the quality of their decisions or their end-customer onboarding experience. We want to deliver automation our customers can trust, so that their teams can spend time on the decisions that matter. Automation is core to two onboarding metrics that matter to our customers: straight-through-processing and time-to-decision.

As an Associate Director - Product manager at Passfort, you will lead product managers in your team, setting strategies and orchestrating the holistic delivery of your roadmap. In this influential position within the product group, you will steer the discovery and delivery processes, collaborating closely with stakeholders to address customer needs and translate challenges into innovative product opportunities. Your role involves shaping and executing prioritized roadmaps, bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders, and being the primary advocate for Passfort with internal teams and customers. As a manager, you will provide guidance and support to the product managers, fostering a collaborative team culture.

This is an exceptional opportunity to lead, innovate, and contribute to Passfort's and the KYC ( Know Your Customer) unit's success.

Strategy:

  • Work with Head of Product and other product leaders to identify areas of focus and devise Passfort's strategy.
  • Work with Head of Product to define a vision and longterm ambition for your team's remit.
  • Present your team's strategy to Passfort's leadership and senior KYC stakeholders.

Discovery:

  • Collaborate closely with the product managers to help as they work to uncover customer pain points and translate them into actionable product opportunities for your cross-functional teams.
  • Engage with customers and prospects to gain insights into their needs and challenges.
  • Identify and validate opportunities aligned with Passfort's and the wider KYC unit's vision and strategy.
  • Support your product managers as they develop and own the short-term vision and strategy for their teams
  • Work hand-in-hand with UX designers and engineering leads to refine and iterate on solutions.

Delivery:

  • Lead the translation of identified opportunities into tangible implementations.
  • Support the shaping and executing of prioritized roadmaps for your teams.
  • Effectively communicate the strategy behind the roadmaps to both internal teams and customers.
  • Facilitate continuous communication across teams to track progress, reassess priorities, resolve issues, and ensure efficient delivery.
  • Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, driving collaborative conversations and gaining buy-in from all parties.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and advocate for Passfort with customers and internal teams.
  • Work alongside UX and engineering leads to prioritise projects and ensure alignment to Passfort's objectives.

Mentoring and team management:

  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to your team, helping them develop their skills, navigate challenges, and achieve their professional goals.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture where learning and growth are prioritized.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in product management and leadership whilst fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  • Manage product managers in your team ensuring they have clear objectives and providing regular feedback.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in product management within a SaaS environment.
  • Any experience with workflow products and building platforms would be advantageous
  • Track record of successfully leading teams and delivering impactful products.
  • Extensive experience in mentoring and developing others, with a track record in providing guidance that allows your teams to grow and thrive
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Passion for understanding customer needs and delivering exceptional user experiences.
