Contract type: Permanent Contract, 30 hours per week over 4 days
Hourly rate: £13.50
MISSION
As a joint brand Counter Manager, you will bring the Shiseido & Drunk Elephant vision to our customers in a fast paced open sell shopping environment, embodying each brands philosophy into every customer connection. We are looking for someone who is passionate about all things beauty, thinks creatively and is open minded. Personality, pace and enthusiasm are key.

Our first strength is Make-up, led by NARS, the No 8 brand in the UK market with incredible success globally.
Skincare is a key priority for expansion, with Shiseido having huge growth potential in UK&I, and also the spectacular launch of Clé de Peau Beauté in Harrods and H-Beauty. Drunk Elephant joined our portfolio at the beginning of 2021 bringing its unique tone of voice together with its amazing formulations. In 2023 we are planning to launch ULE a newly created Skincare brand with breakthrough credentials around Sustainability, as well as expanding Gallinée, our most recent acquisition from 2022 and specialized around skin microbiome.
We are also growing fast in Fragrance with brands such as Issey Miyake, Narciso Rodriguez, Tory Burch, Zadig&Voltaire and Serge Lutens.
Our clients include high-street retailers such as department stores, drugstores & chains as well as online pure players and specialty stores. We also have 4 boutiques and 3 direct e-commerce websites.

Drunk Elephant launched in Houston Texas in 2013, founded by Tiffany Masterson- Drunk Elephant was born from Tiffany's quest to eliminate specific ingredients (the suspicious 6) from her skincare routine. Unable to find something already available, Tiffany set to it and created her own.
We are committed to using only ingredients that either directly benefit the health of the skin or support the integrity of our formulations. We never take into account whether something is synthetic or natural, instead choosing ingredients based on biocompatibility.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
You will relish in the challenge of meeting your sales targets and identifying new opportunities to drive the business. You are a Beauty and skin enthusiast and will be confident, engaging and knowledgeable about Shiseido and Drunk Elephant brand vision and products, ensuring customers are excited and connected with both the brand and you as a beauty professional. Providing exceptional service and surpassing the expectations of customers will come naturally to you, as will your confidence in establishing meaningful rapport with both customers and retail partners in stores. You will maintain high standards of visual excellence of the Shiseido and Drunk Elephant space and will be expected to oversee the visual representation of our sister brands within your store. You will also nurture the relationship between Shiseido group and the retail partners in store.

PROFILE
- Ability to work and drive a team to achieve a sales target in a fast paced environment
- Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively across multiple brands and plan in contingencies to ensure that the targets are met
- Excellent communication skills with all touch points, Customers, Team members, Area Manager and retail partners in store
- Organised and methodical, able to recognise business opportunities and plan accordingly
- Ability to motivate and inspire team members, to deliver brand message and an exceptional customer experience that build the Shiseido reputation.
- Committed to excellence in service and standards
- Management experience or retail sales experience in beauty retail industry desirable
