We currently have an opportunity for two Drought & Resilience Project Managersto join our team based in Exeter. Joiningus on a full-time permanent basis, you will receive a competitive salary of £45,000 - £50,000 per annum plus excellent benefits and car allowance.

We are looking for two dedicated Project Managers to join our purpose led team who can be trusted to work with others to deliver results. The role will require a talented individual who can work effectively across teams and be able to build relationships with all stakeholders.

You will plan, implement and deliver projects, identify project goals and determine the potential challenges that can increase the cost or cause delays. Also track progress and supervise project resources from inside and outside of the business to ensure the achievement of milestones.

What you'll be doing:

    • Manage Water Resilience related Projects across the Drought and Resilience Function
    • Support the Water Resilience Programme Manager and relevant Working Groups to deliver the programme to time, cost and quality parameters.
    • Meeting with functional management, clients and stakeholders to identify project requirements, delivery timelines and costs.
    • Developing detailed project plans to guide clients, staff members and project teams and revising based on changing needs and requirements.
    • Ensuring the Drought and Resilience Programme Governance Framework is used track and report performance.
    • Help to develop the culture and ethos to facilitate the most efficient delivery, ensuring the effective delivery of the programme in accordance with agreed strategies, objectives, and performance targets, including management of risks and issues.
    • Ensuring good management of team data and file systems to enable the reporting of concise, well presented, standardised and auditable records for the department to conform to business requirements.
    • Act as the link between relevant project delivery teams and the Drought and Resilience Programme across the Pennon group plus external stakeholders which will include external partners and regulators.

What we are looking for:

    • Professional status in project management.
    • Proven experience of a range of project management techniques and working with others at pace in a high change environment.
    • Skills in enabling and managing change through people, processes and technology.
    • Stakeholder and partnership management
    • Experienced in initiating projects, planning, delegating, managing and risk mitigating.

£45,000 - £50,000 a year
